Gutebad app privacy policy

General

Gutebad gets all its information about the weather, water temperature and algal bloom from the people who use the app. Anyone can see the latest reports for each bathing place, but only people who are at the bathing place can submit a report.

The app also shows a weather forecast for each bathing place, based on data from SMHI (the Swedish Meteorological and Hydrological Institute). The app interprets this data before showing it, so any errors or inconsistencies are caused by that interpretation and not by the SMHI data.

The app also shows the bathing places on a map.

Collected data

The app uses and collects:

• The device's location, but only if the user has explicitly allowed it. The location is used to verify that the user is at the bathing place when submitting a report.
• The IP address and a device ID. These are used for statistics on the number of unique users and to prevent misuse.

Data retention and sharing

All collected data is deleted after 24 hours.

No data is shared with anyone else. No third party is involved in collecting the data, and the app does not use advertising or third-party analytics.

Usage and permissions

The user must give permission before the app can use the device's location. The app is free, has no advertising and does not require signing in.

Integritetspolicy för Gutebad-appen

Allmänt

Gutebad får all sin information om väder, badtemperatur och algblomning från dem som använder appen. Alla kan se de senaste rapporterna för varje badplats, men bara den som befinner sig vid badplatsen kan rapportera.

Appen visar också en väderprognos för varje badplats, baserad på data från SMHI. Appen tolkar dessa data innan de visas, så eventuella fel eller avvikelser beror på den tolkningen och inte på SMHI:s data.

Appen visar också badplatserna på en karta.

Insamlade uppgifter

Appen använder och samlar in:

• Enhetens position, men bara om användaren uttryckligen har godkänt det. Positionen används för att kontrollera att användaren är vid badplatsen när en rapport skickas.
• IP-adress och ett enhets-ID. Dessa används för statistik över antalet unika användare och för att förhindra missbruk.

Lagring och delning

Alla insamlade uppgifter raderas efter 24 timmar.

Inga uppgifter delas med någon annan. Ingen tredje part är inblandad i insamlingen, och appen använder varken reklam eller analystjänster från tredje part.

Användning och behörigheter

Användaren måste ge sitt tillstånd innan appen kan använda enhetens position. Appen är gratis, har ingen reklam och kräver ingen inloggning.
